Alex is a globally experienced life sciences executive with a proven track record of launching innovative products, building high-performing teams, and guiding organizations through growth and transformation. His leadership and expertise will further strengthen VIC Tech’s ability to advance groundbreaking healthcare technologies.
Alex currently serves as Global Vice President and Head of Atellica Solutions at Siemens Healthineers, where he oversees a global portfolio spanning analytical instruments, laboratory automation, and informatics. Prior to Siemens Healthineers, he held senior leadership roles at Becton Dickinson and Zimmer Biomet, and was a founding member of a diagnostics company that successfully exited to a Fortune 500 company.

Alex holds an MBA from The Wharton School, an MS in Bioinformatics from Johns Hopkins University, and a BS in Biology from Dickinson College.
