VIC Tech Expands Advisory Boards with New Appointments

VIC Tech is pleased to announce the expansion of its Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) and Medical Advisory Board (MAB) with the addition of two esteemed experts. Dr. Alexandra H. Antonioli, MD, PhD, joins the MAB, and Mr. Martin Cholette joins the SAB, bringing extensive experience in medicine and medical device development.

Dr. Alexandra Antonioli is a distinguished physician-scientist with expertise in biophysics, biochemistry, and translational immunology. She earned her BS from Yale University and completed her MD and PhD at the University of Colorado. Her research has focused on understanding the mechanisms of inflammation and autoimmunity. Currently, a PGY4 resident in Psychiatry Research at UT Southwestern, Dr. Antonioli also has a strong commitment to community service and was recognized with the Thomas Jefferson Award. Additionally, she has a history with VIC Tech, having served as both a Fellow and Senior Fellow.

Martin Cholette brings nearly three decades of experience in developing class III active implantable medical devices, including pacemakers, defibrillators, and spinal cord stimulators. With degrees in Computer Science and Biomedical Sciences from the University of Montreal, Mr. Cholette has held key positions at Medtronic Diabetes, St. Jude Medical, and Integer Holdings Corporation, where he led a team of 200 engineers as Vice President of R&D. His innovative contributions to the medical device field are underscored by 22 issued U.S. patents and numerous published patent applications.
